Yeah Wilson is pointless here. I would understand if it was game 2 of the NLDS and you are up 1-0 in the series losing game two 4-0 but not in a one game playoff.

Definitely a Clint weakness, he isn't imaginative enough to manage this game differently. Same with the Cole start on Sunday, can't wrap his head around calling in the dogs to ensure a better chance later.

Yeah Cole today vs game 162 will be a sore spot. I know you play to win the division but I think Cole would have been better served tonight no matter what or game one of the NLDS if they won the division.

Yeah, no way Bumgarner swung at that one.

They really have to show the Royal highlights. Sorry that isn't happening tonight when you have a pitcher like Bumgarner out there.

Well screw it. It was a great season and glad they played well enough to make it here again. Lets hope they resign Martin and keep it going next year with a division championship.

And a silver lining is maybe this game will make them realize they should resign Liriano and not resign Volquez. Not taking away from what Volquez did the second half of the year but this is game is what he really is.

The single game format got the Pirates. A big game pitcher againist a middle of the rotation pump up starter. I'm still thinking about Snider walking off 2B in SF.

Yeah, I'm willing to concede Volquez is better than his advanced numbers to a certain extent, but yeah he's still a #3 at best.
