Why was Shady banned?

By the way, I just don't see what is wrong here........he sent Landon a couple of PMs, and Landon didn't even say what they said.......he just said Shady was pissed because a thread was removed.

I mean, technically, if that's banworthy then I should be banned as well ............I was pissed off and ripped into TexasMan big time when he was going to ban Huskers21.

That was the first post I dug up. I went back and looked at more of is posts and it was just disney turmoil the whole time he was here..Shady and Exhorbitant were going at it constantly and freddy accussing everyone of being shades

I would suspect that Ghost runs this board and allows some freedom as long as they (post or posters) do not become a distraction to the board and the purpose of such a board.

I was not here when this happened and my opinion matters little, but if Ghost seen cause for the banning of Shady... then the word "WE" should not be part of the equation.

As for all the cursing... I am one who has violated this since here. I do not curse in the public setting or in most of my private settings as it could and does diminish the perspective of the person who is doing the cursing.
No, it does not mean the person who is cursing is not intelligent, but it is perceived as such.

It takes more thought and a larger vocabulary to speak emphatically without swearing. If one swears, it may appear to others that the person thinks little and has a small vocabulary due to lack of education. Doesn't mean it's true, but a lot of people will think that way!

Let me apologize for bad habits sneaking in on occasion... but this is a board where we can let lose... and this sometimes is needed as an outlet... LOL

I will also say, it does not matter to me if other's curse... it is their right to do and say as they feel... period.... and if people don't like it... they are free to remove themselves from the conversation or the board as a whole!

I don't recall a "we" to it. Not in a vote anyway. The forum was only a couple of months old at the time and the whole point was to leave disney crap @ disney. There were a few that couldn't do that.

Yes "we" did ban him...........the majority of us were saying we want the guy gone. A lot of us were sending around PMs to each other (I've still got about 10 of them in my inbox) about how we want him gone, and how we think Shady = omahavinnie.

And then people started telling Ghost...........hell it's not like Ghost is God and can see every post we make ........someone had to fill him in. Just like with the fredmelmackian banning..........it's not like Ghost knew about that until we started PMing him. We told Ghost specifically that we wanted him banned.

I was just pointing out that "Ultimately" Ghost makes the decision and I am sure he made his decision based on what was best for his business.

When you look back at the evidence we have (his posts, our responses) it looks kinda gay on our part. It's like if a group of 10 random people formed a card playing club on Thursday nights where they can shoot the shit, and then they all start talking and find out that one guy is a Republican and the other nine are Democrats (or vice versa) so the group decides to kick that one guy out for having differing view points.
