I agree with you Mysfit, the system is definitely broken. And as 46 points out, how CONVENIENT is it that the last 2 weeks the ESPN analysts have been all about Michigan getting to 14 so they can get into a BCS bowl....

I used to really respect Herbie, but he some of these other fuckers are getting too big for their britches!!!

I love that they realized taking both of those teams was a joke so the put them against each other so they wouldn't get crushed against the other BCS teams not WVU.

I personally dont have any ''hate'' towards either team.

I dont like the fact that Boise St was ranked ahead of both teams, had only 1 loss to their 2 and didn't get a BCS spot.

I do agree that VT has a more legit claim to a BCS bowl than Michigan, VT at least won their division and played in the ACC Champ Game.

I think the problem may be due to the final impression VT left on everyone. VT's final game was an embarassing loss to Clemson.

The ACC, rightfully so or not, is perceived as a conference full of weak teams. So having two teams from a ''weak'' conference make BCS bowls seems like a poor decision making.

Why people are pissed at VA Tech receiving an at large BCS bowl bid:

1. We'll have to watch VA Tech piss on themselves when they have to play another top 25 team b/c we know how VA Tech sux against ranked teams

2. Higher ranked and better teams were passed over. Who cares if you won your division and played for your CCG? you play in the ACC conference which is just a tad better than the Big Easy.
