What's wrong with say the Pittsburgh Penguins play the Washington Caps on New years day outdoors.

That would intrigue me, Like an out door NBA game. I hate the NBA but would check it out to see the spectacle.

I wonder how many people here would say the same. I wouldn't care what teams were playing I would check it out. PERIOD!

I enjoy college basketball in March. Other than that I'm not a fan. I grew up watching Kareem, Magic, Bird, McHale, Dr J. Andrew Toney & of course M.J. The players of today don't measure up in my opinion. The game was just better back then.

What the fuck were they thinking buying out Friedgen? He has done so much with an inferior team this year during a supposed rebuild. he is a fantastic coach and a standup guy. I felt terrible for him.

I am not a college fan at all but was puzzled by that. From what I read Fridge is not a good recruiter nor attempts to be (lazy is one word I heard used) at all and that was affecting the program. So while he did better than anyone expected this year, the reason no one expected it is because of the overall caliber of players they have.
