He had Surgery TODAY and will miss 7 Months....
why the hell does a player wait so long for surgery? Makes no sense..
Now he most likely will miss the start of the season. Why not have it done the day after you are eliminated? Yes, I know trying to get a doctors appointment is very hard but NOT for athlete's
when was his MRI?
I think Im more upset than anyone that Dustin Pedroia wont be ready by opening day
Closest I can find is back in April @The Q
Red Sox's Pedroia out again, to have MRI
(Article was written April 23) So maybe in May or something
Ok. I'm assuming he needed to get a new MRI before surgery.
Unless they knew back then and he just played on it.
Then maybe it was just about finding a date that there was an opening for something that was clearly not an emergency.
Probably but I mean athlete's pretty much jump the line when it comes to surgery's so you'd think it be sooner
Sox eliminated on October 9.
Pedroia surgery on October 25
Little over two weeks? Not sure I feel as strongly about it as you do.
But it is now the off-season...
And like another poster said, 2 weeks isn't that much when you consider getting him in.

Yea I'm on your side here. Now if redseat suggested he should have had the surgery months ago then I would agree. But there's not a huge difference in having the surgery let's say on October 10th and October 25th. He still wouldn't be available til some point in May any way you slice it
