If the money is so trivial (10 bucks per), why didn't the organization just eat it? Serve food and you'll more than make up the cost of the band and fireworks.

The big issue here isn't whether a fan can afford 10 dollars.... The issue is how the team handled it. They sent out a 'special' invitation for season ticket holders only and then threw in an unnecessary charge. When asked why they did it, they cited data from their 'focus groups.' Really? The Brown family now uses focus groups? I'd be shocked to learn that this focus group consisted of anyone besides Troy, Katie and a few of their children.

I dont give a smuck! its 10 bucks so WHAT! If it was 40 per then I would say something...I just spent 8 on wings and a soda...it is what it is.....

be there on 7-27 and 7-28 with my Son.

I say $40, SO WHAT!?!

Double standard. Generally speaking, it's hypocritical to criticize others for complaining about $10, but yourself complaining had it been a higher number. Not everyone draws the line at the same place.

What I find funny (and typical) is that the team is simply capitalizing on the stadium already being prepared for the Macy's Music Festival..... Someone (Macys?) is already footing the bill for renting the joint, constructing a stage and preparing the stadium for customers -- The Bengals are just piggy backing here..... And still charging 10 bucks a head.

This is like the rich kid with a million dollar trust fund throwing a party at his parents mansion and then charging 10 bucks at the door to drink from the keg. Yeah its a good deal to get to drink for 10 bucks, but does the kid really need the money?
