Are we better? Defense is a push. We're better at QB. I just don't see how we are 12 points better. Not with our injuries and rookies on O. NFL Insiders just showed a stat about our WR's; 81 total receptions they have from Brady. Edelman 76, KT 4, Slater 1 with Boyce and Dobson zero.

We better be able to run the ball tonight or it'll be a long night. The D needs to come up big.

Our O did run more plays (91) than any other team. We are lucky to be starting the season versus two rookies .

Seems like we're 12 points because people are betting against the Jets, not betting on the Pats. We don't deserve to be 12 point favorites to anyone, but they deserve to be 12 point underdogs to lots of teams.

The Patriots are better on offense and defense. It's hard to get a gauge on the Patriots offense right now, but 12 points isnt totally rediculous.

I don't think anyone outside of a blind Jets fans wouldn't think you are better, but 12 points better? With all the guys you are missing on offense.

I do have one reason why you are 12 points favorite. Because the majority of the betting public will give the 12 and bet NE anyway. In case you aren't aware the spread is based on what Veges thinks will get even money.
