you're asking for validity, but you don't even have Marcus Mariota on your list.

In no particular order

Mariota
Derrick Henry
Trevor Knight (total homer pick)
Nick Marshall
Jameis Winston

Watch for Keith Ford out of Oklahoma. He could be a fringe guy. Didn't get a ton of carries last year as a freshman, but when he did get the rock he was a monster.

There's a guy with 8 YPC for his career who is likely to get about 275 carries this year. You can do the math on that one.

I don't understand the Derrick Henry 2014 Heisman talk yet. That sounds extremely premature.

I saw enough of him in the sugar bowl to feel pretty confident in his ability to be a contender if he stays healthy. Guy ran like Eddie Lacy on steroids.

He's not even likely to be the starter next year though. :noidea: (Not saying he won't be though)

The Heisman is for a body of work during an entire season and only 35 carries last season is no where near a big enough body of work for me to put in the likely Heisman finalist category. He wasn't even getting 2nd team reps at the beginning of the season.

Guess I'd put him in my fringe category then.

The only reason he wasn't playing with1st string last season is because he didn't pick up blocks well on pass plays. He figured it out at the end of the season, and now is primed and ready for some serious PT this season. The dude is a physical nightmare. I'm not saying he's the next Bo or Herschell, but when he touches the ball, shit happens. He made OUs defense look like a peewee squad. Just imagine that monster getting 15-20 rushes and 3-5 catches a game... :omg::nod::yahoo:

Because TJ Fumbledon is going to lose his job for being a head case. In the last 4 games of the season, he looked like Kenneth Darby in his senior season. He'd run up to the line and just shuffle his feet. And every big game of his career, he finds a way to fumble in the red zone.

That's why King Henry s going to stake his throne in the Heisman House

I'm not trying to be a dick, but that list is garbage. You don't even have the Heisman winner on there. You have two guys on there in Henry and Morris who have played in what 2 career games. Jack a LB/RB--don't see it. Then Knight is impressive but he played good in one game and he is a Heisman candidate.

How bout putting on some players that actual have proven it?
