Richardson and James have one common opponent, LSU. And Richardson got them late season while they are jellin, and put up 169 all-purpose yards. James put up 115.

And neither James or David Wilson catch out of the backfield like Richardson does.

In my opinion, Richardson is the top running back.

Shit that is like being held to less then 50.

Rex Burkhead? He's not even going to win the Doak Walker, much less the Heisman.

LMJ and Richardson are probably the only RBs even in the running. Luck is still probably going to win though. Voters love that guy for some reason.

Weeden.

Shame on anyone who thinks Case Keenum should get votes. the guy plays patsy defenses.

yeah, but its not like he is a QB on a great team either. Its not like he has the LSU O-Line protecting him and LMJ to hand the ball off too. Houston was like 3-7 without Keenum last year.

Please explain why you think Richardson and LMJ are more deserving than Joseph Randle.

Because I don't really know who Randle is, that's why.

Randle gets no hype. Every voter in the nation knows who Richardson and LMJ are, and they've played on the biggest stages and generally performed.

This isn't rocket science, people. You aren't winning a Heisman with no name cache and a ton of stats. Keep putting up names of players on teams with no shot at winning anything.....and you'll keep getting disappointed.

Luck, LMJ, and Richardson are going to be the top 3 vote getters. Don't shoot the messenger.

My bad, i thought you were talking about who was more deserving...not who would actually win.

The Heisman committee is full of shit, and always will be.

If we were talking about deserving, RG3 would at LEAST be discussed. How often is a guy that plays at BAYLOR going to be arguably the best player in his conference? He has zero weapons on offense, no defense, and will get penalized simply because he plays for Baylor, so you know they're going to lose games. Yet he gets the job done.

Much like a NC game appearance, those in the running for the Heisman are pretty much picked before the season begins. If you don't play for a top 10 team, you had better be putting up historic numbers to even be considered for a trip to NY. Even then, you don't have a realistic chance. And up until recent years, if you weren't a junior or senior, tough luck.

James was hurt vs LSU. got hurt early. Nonetheless, James is putting up enormous #'s even with being out a few games, or playing limited time in some games.

James one of the best, if not the best RB in the country. You put him behind that Alabama line and he is in the endzone 8/10 carries.

James is a little speedster, and Oregons offense sets him up to get big yardage. Richardson gets half his yards after contact, in my opinion, that's a good running back.

LMJ - If the hole is there, get big yards. If it's not, he's fucked.

TR - If the hole is there, get big yards. If it's not, make one.

Call it homerism if you want, but this is the way I see it.
