Nobody's noticed for some reason, but the last three weeks Richardson has only 293 yards on 72 carries (4 YPC) for 3 TDs. He does have 139 receiving yards, but those numbers still aren't very good at all. People say a major reason Richardson should win is his level of competition, but when the level has risen, he has struggled.

Russell should be the favorite. 16/17 for 178 yards with 4 TDs yesterday. The one incompletion was a drop on a perfectly thrown 30 yard pass. He a QB rating of 201, and he has come up big in the big moments. Montee Ball is having an amazing season at RB, but he struggled in one loss, and was injured for a crucial portion of the second.

If the Hokies win out and Wilson is stellar, I can not imagine him not at least getting invited to New York. he should. Let's say he gets 130 per game in the next three, that puts him at 1'750 yards on a 12-1 team with a top 5 ranking.

Not by me.

Now there is the train of thought that teams win and as a team you need to have someone to plug in but when you have superior athletes in any position you cannot just plug in a replacement with out some negative impact.

Regardless over 100 yards is nothing close to 50 yards.

Richardson and James have one common opponent, LSU. And Richardson got them late season while they are jellin, and put up 169 all-purpose yards. James put up 115.

And neither James or David Wilson catch out of the backfield like Richardson does.

In my opinion, Richardson is the top running back.

James was hurt vs LSU. got hurt early. Nonetheless, James is putting up enormous #'s even with being out a few games, or playing limited time in some games.

James one of the best, if not the best RB in the country. You put him behind that Alabama line and he is in the endzone 8/10 carries.
