Some killer superstars sent to the tee box early this year. A ton I would love watch in the playoffs and a ton I'm glad we don't have to face.

Brad Richards had another solid year, can't forget about Kovy, and some youngsters too like Tavares...

Corey Perry Hart is the boy in the box who likes to wear his sunglasses at night, but if I'm Bob Murray, I would never surrender him for Rick Nash.

I like Nash most of the time, even though he's been kinda a...well, jerk in the past few times the Pens have played Columbus. I'd like to see what he can do on a good team. Columbus is a great market ready for the big dance. They showed in their brief entrance into the playoffs that they're ready to support the team. It's a market that is dominated by OSU, but I think that they could be really successful. The only thing in their way is that a lot of Columbusonians (??) are replanted from other towns. Seems there's a ton of Pittsburghers (or at least Pittsburgh fans) in that area.

I like Nash but I just don't see him as a "franchise" player.

I can honestly see him becoming Olli Jokinen 2.0. A guy who puts up good (not great) numbers as the go-to guy on a perennial lottery team, but just can't take his team to contender status.

really ... comparing Nash to Jokinen? he was one of the best players for team canada at the Olympics in the role they had him play imo. Nash has skill and will ... Jokinen doesnt know the meaning of the second word

He's been dieing for a centre for years ... is Brassard that guy? and Voracek on his wing?

Jokinen might be harsh but in his mid to late 20s Jokinen was very good. His numbers were, in fact, better than Nash's have ever been.

Everyone loves Nash because of his international play and his highlight reel goals, but he does disappear for long stretches of every NHL season. Has he ever played a truly meaningful NHL game and delivered? Not even close.

Would I like to have Nash on my team? Absolutely! Will he ever be the guy to be the best player on a Cup-calibre team? I'm not so sure and 8 NHL seasons now seem to support the fact that he's simply never going to be the centrepiece of a Cup contender.
