A 3-28 DePaul team is putting up a great fight against a Villanova team that’s on the bubble.

3/13 recap (Part 1- The major tournaments)
Villanova survives, beating DePaul by 1, their tourney hopes are still alive.
And thank god; that would have been a nuclear-type disaster for the Wildcats. Oh, and people like Xavier and Providence also won in Madison Square Garden.
Now let's see what else happened yesterday. First, the big tourneys:

Big 12 2nd Round:
BYU over UCF 87-73
Cincinnati upsets Kansas 72-52 (Oh, man. I think Kansas is screwed come NCAA tourney time.)
TCU over Oklahoma 77-70
Kansas State over Texas 78-74 (HUGE win for the Wildcats!)

ACC 2nd Round:
Florida State over Virginia Tech 86-76
Wake Forest over Notre Dame 72-59
NC State over Syracuse 83-65
Boston College upsets Clemson 76-55 (Man, Clemson has really fallen off, haven't they? Expect a 1st-round loss from these guys next week.)

Big 10 1st Round:
Maryland over Rutgers 65-51
Penn State over Michigan 66-57

SEC 1st Round:
Arkansas over Vanderbilt 90-85 in OT
Georgia over Missouri 64-59

PAC-12 1st Round:
USC over Washington 80-74
UCLA over Oregon State 67-57
Stanford over California 87-76 in OT
Utah over Arizona State 90-57

Mountain West 1st Round:
Fresno State over Wyoming 77-73
Colorado State over San Jose State 72-62
New Mexico over Air Force 82-56
Surprised that the Mountain West is now on the list? Well, think about it: A lot of things may hinge on that tournament for the bubble teams.

UConn and UNC take care of business in their quarterfinals.

TCU still hasn’t scored against Houston and we’re almost halfway through the 1st half, holy shit.

At this point I wonder if one of the "play-in" matchups will be Wagner (16-15) vs Montana St (17-17)...a battle of flukes.

Holy shit. I flipped it over and witnessed TCU score their first points of the game...10 minutes in.

NCST upsets Duke, always nice to see Duke lose, I hate that smug elitist snobby program.

Providence over Creighton was a good game as well.

A&M beats Ole Miss to keep their chances at the tourney alive

Cincinnati - NET ranking of 34. 4 QUAD 1 wins.

Just play make-believe and slap the Kansas name or some shit on our jerseys and they'll be a 5 seed, let alone in the tournament. No one has to know.
