You remember the Bears-Rams a few weeks ago? That's what 40% of a stadium sounds like. Since opposing fans are normally more dedicated (since they have to travel, the more dedicated fans come), the noise for each side should be about even in a 60-40 stadium.

I've never seen a Bears-Packers game where Pack fans were 1/5 as loud as Bears fans.

It's laughable hyperbole that deserves to get called out for the horseshit that it is.

Yeah I see what you mean about the more dedicated fans being louder.

Is it a good sign that the Bears - Packers week of trash talking is starting 2 weeks early?

I dont think any NFC teams wants to see an Aaron Rodger's led Packer Team in the playoffs. Crazy that Detroit choked away their best chance to win the division in years. Now the Packers control their destiny and I think even with Flynn they can beat the Steelers.

Yea swear call it hyperbole whatever, Im going by what I saw and other than a couple small screen shots you have no proof. Like I said tho that won't matter anyway, its irrelevant.

they have a 1.2% chance, i think the pack will be playing a bit harder. Anyways I don't see the bears winning in philly.

We are only 3 point underdogs. The Packers were 6 point dogs vs the Cowboys and won. The Lions were 6.5 point favorites vs the Ravens and lost.

The Bears could easily win that game, mainly because the Eagles pass defense is trash.

The bears could easily win sure, I just think the eagles will be very fired up after losing to the queens and foles/mccoy will go off on the chicago D. Both teams have a lot to play for so it should be a really good game.

Agree. I think both teams get over 30, possibly 40. I give the edge to the Eagles being at home though.

Thats my thinking its going to be a shootout, and in that situation I take the home team. Philly has a strong fan presence too, should be pretty loud.

The Eagles-Bears game will be meaningless for the Eagles if the Cowboys beat the Redskins earlier in the day. It would all come down the next week, Eagles-Cowboys. The Eagles coach was even asked about resting starters next week. They might not have anything to play for. You'd think that would favor the Bears.

My fear is that if we make it in, the organization will ride this staff out another year. Obviously I'd like them to make it but I think this team is in need of a staff that can utilize the talent.

I feel the same way with the Packers. Even if they don't make it they will blame injuries. We have the worst D in the NFL but that's because of Rodgers injury and not the fault of the D coordinator or manager drafting skills. :wtf2:

If Rodgers come back this week, It is GB division to LOSE

Chicago will be favored in Chicago if they both win next week. That's a big if for Chicago going to Philly next week. Pittsburgh won't be any walk in the park for the Pack next week either. The Lions are done. the Vikes will beat em the last week. I also think it won't matter much in the long run. Whomever wins will lose when they travel in the playoffs.

I agree with everything you said. Although I could see if Rodgers plays vs the Steelers and lights it up, the Packers will probably be a slight favorite over the Bears even if they beat the Eagles. Maybe 1 point or so.

If rodgers is back for the chicago game I see the pack being slight favorites

Actually the Lions are done if all 3 win next week anyway. That just occurred to me. I need to go to bed. When do pitchers and catchers report ?

Not true, the division winner with the better record will get the better seed, so no the game won't be meaningless and the eagles will play to win.

He may have a point. 3 & 4 seed will both be traveling after 1 home playoff game. Does it really matter where ? It would only matter if the 3 & 4 were the 2 left standing for the NFCCG. What are the odds ?

The odds may be small but he was wrong when he said the game was meaningless. Also kelly has already said they won't rest anyone and are playing to win. They just got embarrassed and want to get back on track. Can you imagine if somehow the 3 and 4 seeds played in the nfc championship and they had to go on the road because they just laid down one game? It's unlikely yes and probably won't mean anything in the end but to say hilly is going to not try or rest players is false and frankly an asinine assumption..

Well, Kelly would probably say that no matter what.

I agree that they will play all their players. I do think 3 vs 4 and 5 vs 6 really don't factor much into coaches decisions though.
