Apparently Marty went to the stage to announce the pick. That had to be an amazing feeling to announce teh team you have spent your entire career with has drafted your son in your home arena

He was at the Devils table, they didn't go up to the podium after the first round. Really classy. Everyone left here in the building was wondering. Props to the Kings who traded us their 7th this year for our 7th in 2015(?)

So I've turned a corner on the Schneider trade. Read that Lou has been talking to Marty quite a bit about the transition and when he plans to hang em up so I figure he has his hand firmly on the pulse of this whole thing.

Also, with the Olympics this year and the condensed schedule there are going to be a lot of back to backs this season and we'll need to number 1 goalies in order to handle that.

I really wanted to add a potential linemate for Kovy for the next decade but, as has been stated, now we have a goalie for the next 10 years and if the D prospects are half as good as they've been talked up to be, we have a legit D Corps for the next decade.

Need to go get a goal scorer now.
