The Seahawks better shore up the other holes on the ship before throwing draft picks at a QB. At least for this year. Ug, someone needs to talk me off the ledge. @flyerhawk, not you though. I'm pretty sure you'll jump right with me.

I can help...

As i have been saying for a while now, 2022 is going to be a down year. We will likely be taking a QB in 23.

I don't know why everyone is saying wait a year when we could take Wilson 2.0?

Jimmy G damn near went to the SB this year and he could run Pete’s offense really well.

Pair him with Matt corral or Malik Willis

Yeah I'm not here for happiness and sunshine.

I soured on PC 2 seasons ago when it was clear that he fielded a defense that was woefully unprepared for the season. We got lucky with a midseason Dunlap trade and the team got better but then we saw the SAME THING this year.

No way Paul Allen keeps PC and dumps Russ if he were still around. This happened because Jody Allen is a caretaker owner waiting till she can sell the Seahawks, I think, next year.

Jimmy lost his mobility and would get crushed behind the Seahawks OL and he doesn’t deal well with pressure from the pass rush.

We need a running qb?

I know a draft eligible qb that can do it
I feel we use the draft capitol to build OL, DL,Secondary maybe a RB in the 3rd or 4th, better depth, Address the QB short term with temporary fill in type, draft a QB 2023 when the odds are the Seahawks have a early 1st maybe top 5. I like Huntley as a likely choice, FA, cheap, mobile and some experience starting.

Again.

Their is A bigger Russell Wilson in the Draft?

Why not him?

I don't hear there is a RW type in the draft, in fact they say this is one of the poorest drafts for QB for a long time. I haven't been looking at QBs myself, because we had RW. I'll give them a peek.

Except he isn't a Russell type. Being mobile alone doesn't make one a Russell Wilson. There are concerns about his consistency with his accuracy as well as his arm strength for deep throws. By all means, if he's a target, let's give him a look, but Russell was considered a first rounder talent but too short for the position - this kid as the height and is considered a 2nd rounder for some (a day three pick for others) who could possibly develop into a starter if everything works for his development.

Heard the accuracy but not the deep ball strength

If the Seahawks trade their 1st rounder for Jimmy G I literally will quit this team.

God help us if that ever happened... I will also be pissed if we go into the season with Geno as our starter...

I'd be fine with that but I don't see it happening. Who would the Raiders use at QB then?
Probably no one... More of a wish list for me... I really like him...

With their new coaching staff, who knows what they want in a QB...
