My biggest problem with pick 'ems is that I won't pick against the Vols.

So, other than the conference game pick 'ems, what's the nature of the big shindig? Top 25 with a few select fillers? Full FBS slate? The pick 'em master's choice?

God, I feel old now that someone doesn't recognize Tanya Harding by sight. :L

Thanks. I had to register as "The Real Tin Man." Last year, a FN troll began duping me. After FN was taken down, and I went looking for a new forum site, I discovered that someone else (the FN troll?) had taken my screen name. For the record, my screen name is the drop zone nickname given to me by one of my skydiving instructors in 1998. There's a good story behind it.

Unless one has been watching The 1990s documentary, one wouldn't know what Tonya looks like today.

There is also a weekly pick 'em on the Huskers board that anyone is welcome to participate in. The games are usually the "best" games of the week. The winner for the week gets to choose an avatar that the loser of that week has to put up until the next week. Someone also keeps a running total of correct picks and periodically puts out a season leaderboard. We get people from lots of other fanbases who play along, you'd be welcome to join :suds:

We have been discussing our Pac12 pick'em. Everyone of course is welcome to join that one as well. Last year it was the only pick'em against the spread on the site. A real challenge, but low key.

It is a Pac-centric challenge, but we do add up to 4 'other' games of interest from across college football. We do give 2 points for picking the correct Pac team vs one of those 'other' games.

We track weekly winners and post a season total every week. There are avatars for the weekly winners to show off that they own the Pac that week and we made a grand champion one for the end of the season.

I did both of the ESPN group pick'ems last year and the Pac one as well. You can't beat ATS as a format though.
