Unless one has been watching The 1990s documentary, one wouldn't know what Tonya looks like today.

I'm not sure how a documentary from the 90's would show you what someone looks like today, but anyone at least my age would remember her. She doesn't look that much differently than she did back then, even with all that added weight.

Tonya was interviewed. It is a recent production. Seeing Tonya as she is today, my reaction was that she looks as one might expect. However, based upon her image from the early 1990s, I did not recognize her until she was identified by the documentarians.
