Who is your pick for the most underrated Bengal player?

Mine is Carlos Dunlap.

Dunlap has been a Top-5 4-3 DE against the run for the last four years. He's been a dynamic pass-rusher as a 4-3 DE over the last 2-1/2 years. Overall, he's been one of the Top-5 4-3 DE's over the past 2-1/2 years, yet as a Top-5 in that category, he gets little, if any, recognition for it...mostly because the player inside of him has been one of the top-3 DT's over the last 3-4 years.

This team is loaded with Top-10 players at their position all over the place. There's at least 10 of them, so it's easy to not get the recognition on a team like this.

He did go to Hawaii this year, so I think he's starting to get some recognition.

I think the guy most underrated by our fans is Cedric Peerman. Everyone always wants to cut the dude for some scrub running back, but he is the captain on coverage teams that are always among the best in the NFL.

That would be true, if your kicker didn't have a noodle leg..... Mikey can only get it to the end zone on a warm day with no wind. Coverage teams are necessary when your owner is an OSU homer that refuses to get rid of a shitty kicker.

This is probably the most debatable question you can find on the Bengals. Is Dalton underrated or would another 'average' qb do just as well given his weapons? I feel like I've been on both sides of the fence over the last 2 or 3 years.

I wouldn't argue he's elite or great. But he's probably been the most criticized QB in the NFL since his second year in the league despite great numbers and a great winning percentage. He's been underrated
