I agree about Hogan. Will be cool to see him at WM 30 in a few months and back home in the wwe.

Fyi Jay Briscoe regained the ROH title last night. Next up Briscoe v Steen should be a war.

Wow I'm in shock that no one mentioned Hulk Hogan except for only 1 person in here. Have we forgotten everything he did for wrestling & how much of an amazing human being he is ?? we are talking about the Michael Jordan of wrestling. If not your favorites he is for sure a top 5 & I can say I was honored to have met him & got his autograph when he had his book signing. :10:

Hogan got me more interested in WCE, WCCW, anything else that was on TV. Everything he did was so scripted it was almost a joke. Give credit to Andre the Giant for Hogan, getting brought to the ring at wrestlemania on a lift making it look like he was a king when the honest truth was the fact he could not get into the ring because of his back problem, then Hogan wins by a body slam. He finally got me interested in what he was doing when he started the NWO and made people love the heel.

I never liked WWF. Just look what they did with Chris Candido, one of the best in ring talents of his time.

In terms of popularity? Sure.

In terms of actual wrestling ability? Certainly not.

He had the look that WWE loves and was charismatic/good on the mic. But when you look at his actual wrestling, was there anything that really stood out outside of the bodyslam to Andre the Giant? Jordan earned his stripes largely by in-game performance. Hogan got his largely by WWE pushing him as a superhero type character.

Growing up in the early to mid '90s, it was Bret Hart for me...he could put on a quality match with anybody, and what I liked was that he paid his dues and worked his way up from the bottom (took him almost 10 years from his debut to become the top guy, partially because he didn't have the big Hulk-like look that was desired for most top wrestlers).

I'll go with a real wrestler and say Anthony Robles. Won a national title with one leg.

Proof Warrior could have taken out the entire roster during the attitude era..

All of those steroids and HGH. I wonder how big his titties are now, and just how long ago his nuts shrank and ascended so far that they became ovaries.

Of all-time .....Bret Hart.
Currently..... CM Punk (if he returns) although Dolph Ziggler is entertaining when working a decent storyline.
To the gentleman that said AJ Lee.....HELL YES! I'd have that for b'fast, lunch, & dinner if ya know what I mean.
