heard that too...the only problem is that he would have like a 1.6 mil contract buyout...and we still have to pay sadler.

if osborne was going to hire some "rum sum bum fuck" he wouldn't have fired sadler. i think he is really trying to turn basketball around at nebraska, with the spending on the new facilities and all. i have a feeling we are going to be a bit surprised by how much we end up paying for a coach. as much as we have invested, we can't afford to hire some idiot coach cheap.

It is highly likely that we will be hiring a coach who currently has a team in the NCAA Tourney. So it could be a couple more weeks still.

I'm still going with a mid-major that wins at least one round in the tourney though.

A good name that I heard yesterday that probably won't happen because of his past is Larry Eustachy. He took Iowa St to an elite 8. Look at what he ha done over the past 6 years with Southern Miss. He has a checkered past but has reportedly been clean for more than 5 years.

The problems were when they were on the road at Mizzou
and KSU student parties. After what the football program's been
thru the last couple of years, I don't think T.O will take the chance.
