the chances of elias being moved are very slim, he will be moved to RW.


the most likely candidates are, in order, as follows

rolston - 5 mil cap hit, ntc (but is very appetising to a team like the isles who needs to hit the cap floor)
langenbrunner - not many people will understand this but he is somewhat of a cancer at times. he refused to talk to anyone a week before the playoffs. coach, team, press, anything.... .all because lemaire gave him a games rest and it 'cost a chance to play all 82 games' sorry but a captain doesn't act that way
zubrus-formerly hated by devils fans, now he's grown on most, but is somewhat expendable (but probably less than rolston and langenbrunner) and has a 3.4 cap hit.

white- blind in one eye after hit in the face with a shot, but would clear 3 mil off the cap and is reliable for 15 minutes a game. would be great for a team trying to hit the cap floot
salvador- warrior just doesn't bring much to the table other than pure defense something the devils have plenty of and would clear 2.5 mil.



you will most likely see some sort of combo of these players.

He looked that way the whole second half! Don't know if it was a physical problem or if his relationship with Lemaire was so bad it was weighing on him...or plain old age

look for josefson (19) to take the 3rd line center spot,

tedenby, who's a stud (20) to make the team if a winger is traded

then urbom, corrente, eckford or taormina to get a shot on d.
