Who Else Thought The Game Was Going to Get Out of Hand

After the first quarter I thought it was going to get ugly. I will give it to Mizzou. They outplayed us score wise in the final 3 quarters.

I had a very big feeling that Watson would start calling a conservative game after that lead.........and he did. It almost let Missouri back into the game, but also we didn't have Martinez in the 2nd half either.

Had Martinez not gotten hurt, and Watson kept calling the plays he called to start that game off........we could made it ugly I think.

Once Lee comes in the play calling has to get very vanilla. cuz the fact is Lee just isnt very good. but he does typically take care of the ball...

I think if Martinez didnt get hurt... we blow them out... but helu doesnt get the record cuz Martinez would have ate up atleast 100 of his yards...

It made for some nail biting, but with the nice lead Watson went into "don't lose the game" mode.

When you've got a defense you can hang your hat on, I think it makes it easier to go into that mode..

As i recall in the 1st quarter we were in no mindset to burn any clock. When Watson passed he attacked downfieid and we wasted no time gettin back up to the ball. 2nd quarter seemed much different. I gotta watch the game again tonight to see

Me too dude, I couldn't sit down. I started hating watson again. He had a brilliant 1st quarter, but I thought from there on out it was awful. That's just me though.

We did have that bum Lee in and we did win, but I just thought it was a poorly called game overall.
