Who Do you Want: Draft

Who do you want the 49ers to draft this year. These options are based on if we stay at 30. So some guys might not be on this list. Example: Evans.

Staying at 30... Me personally I feel cb is a big need in terms of both quality/talent n depth. So I have verrett as the quicker cb rather than fuller the bigger.

I agree with everything, but I went with the bigger cb over the quicker one.

I like Varrett at 30. Im also ok with Cooks, Fuller, Hageman, Nix and Joyner(slot cover guy).


Feel Adams and Roby are more 2nd rd picks. Lee not that impressed with. Benjamin project.

I agree with you all CB is the bigger need but if we stay at 30 I would take BPA and there is alot of good CB to be had in the 2nd

We'll likely go CB since right now it's dire and immediate need.

With WR we still have playmakers like Crabs, Boldin, and VD so I feel we'll look at and we'll jump at one if the value is greater than whatever CB is on the board but I feel WR could be addressed by getting a T.Y. Hilton type of guy in the 2nd or 3rd.

I picked Verrett as well. As much as I want Cooks or Beckham CB is a bigger need than WR. I would be happy going CB then one of those WR if they fell to the 2nd or Moncrief.

Daniel Jeremiah has us taking Dennard at 30. I would be pretty darn surprised if he fell, but I would certainly be all for taking him if he does.

If Dennard could track the ball in the air suffiently, I'd have no doubt about him. Coverage skills are second to none, but he needs to make more plays on the ball.

Sounds like he'd fit in perfectly with the Niners' CB blueprint over the past few years....

In my last mock (had to change some things after the Culliver issue) I had Cooks landing in our 30th pick. I think now that he goes to the Panthers .We get Verrett due to the need for a CB over a WR .

I stated it right below it. Im still learning the poll system on this board. This is my 2nd one.

No way Dennard falls to 30. I would be shocked and happy.

I'd use one of our 2nd round picks plus later round picks to trade up into the late 1st round.
That would give us two late 1st picks.

Then I'd draft Benjamin and Verrett in the late 1st.

I see Kelvin Benjamin as the best red zone target in this draft, and he might be our best red zone target on our team the day he walks through the door. I'd love to see him beat Sherman in 1:1 press man coverage.

Verrett would develop into our slot CB. He'd have a tough assignment from day one covering the likes of Harvin and Tavon Austin, we need Verrett to be our slot CB.

If Nix is gone: Brandin Cooks.

Those are the only guys in the poll I want at 30. I'm leaning toward the WR's because they would also fill the need of Returner as well. However I'd be happy with any of the 5.

Every year a slide like Rogers occurs and also a few 2 or 3 rounders are drafted in the 1st round. We have the picks to make a couple of trades, or just wait to see who falls to us! Go 49ers!!

I went Fuller. I just really like him as a player and I think he is going to be a great fit for us at the CB position for hopefully the next ten years.
