Defense is the biggest problem now, but um has had top flight qb recruits forever and failed to develop any to their potential since Dorsey. Kaaya is supposedly a super stud, poised to make manziel and winston look human (without all that foolish running down field), but Im not holding my breath any more. UMs talent development (especially qbs) is just like the russian in rocky IV: "I must break you."

You are hoping he is. Difference between being the #1 QB recruit and proving it. Doubt he will be Winstonesque this season. He could and up being a good QB though. The QB position besides Harris has not been a huge problem for Miami. It has been the OL and Defense. Until those are fixed no top flight QB will save Miami.

TAMU and USC have some seriously shitty looking secondaries.

The only difference in this game was TAMU actually had a running game and that just blew the passing game wide open.

Shameless homer plug: Southlake is great and all, and Kenny Hill can sling it, but there is this feller named Tommy Armstrong who is a Texas state champ starting at QB this year for NU and can sling it a whole lot better.

You Texas natives should feel proud because he's beating out the California state champ and the Florida state champ for the 1 spot on the depth chart here in lincoln.

Kaaya plays for da U!

Neither A&M or Texas recruited them. They weren't good enough
