Just drew picks for my league tonight and I got the 2nd pick. I think the guy that got number 1 is going to pick Charles, but I'm not 100% certain on that. I'm obviously gonna get a top RB, so I was wondering who I should go for. My initial thought is AP.

I also would appreciate any thoughts on what to look for for my second pick. Obviously a lot can happen between the 2nd pick and the 23rd pick, but I am guessing the elite WRs will be gone, so I am thinking about a QB. Thoughts?

As for pick #2.. As you said it totally depend on who is there, but no I wouldn't automatically assume a QB.. There could be a few very good RB's left, and some WR's like Cobb, Julio Jones, Jeffrey,. It's still wide open by the end of the second

If PPR or .5 PPR then charles or mccoy, if no PPR at all then peterson is the safest choice...

I was thinking if Brees wasn't picked by then I would grab him, but otherwise go WR or RB.

As far as picking McCoy, you don't think having Sproles there is going hurt him too much?

In Chip Kelly's, fast paced run oriented offense? No. . More than enough offensive snaps to go around.

Thanks for the advice. I was looking at my league and it sounds like we are adding an extra RB/WR slot in addition to a flex so I'll probably wait on taking a QB and take the best available RB/WR with my second pick.

I'd go with McCoy, right now he's the #1 RB off the board according to yahoo.

Honestly you can't go wrong with Charles, Mccoy, or Peterson. In the 2nd round I would only consider quarterback if it's a 6 point td league, otherwise I would go with best available.

I take McCoy first overall, Charles second and AP third.

AP is amazing, but he will decline at some point soon. When faced with a close call like this one at the RB position, I will always opt for the younger player.

No, I am not even a little concerned about the Sproles affect in Philly.

Just did a mock picking from the 2 slot and ended up with this (I took McCoy assuming Charles would be gone, but dumbass picking first drafted a kicker :L):

QB: Matt Ryan
RB: LeSean McCoy
RB: Giovani Bernard
WR: Jordy Nelson
WR: Wes Welker
TE: Vernon Davis
FLEX: Terrance Williams
D/ST: Panthers
K: Adam Vinatieri
BE: Khiry Robinson
BE: Mike Evans
BE: Bryce Brown
BE: Kenny Stills
BE: Markus Wheaton
BE: Justin Forsett
BE: Sam Bradford

McCoy. And I'd lump Forte in the mix with the other top 3 RBs. Another year familiar with the Trestman offense, and the Bears were moving the rock just about every game last year, regardless of who the QB was.

But I think McCoy could easily be in line for top fantasy RB, even with Sproles in town. He has the drive to be the best. I'd be more worried about the younger Chris Polk stealing some series here and there than Sproles, personally.

At #2? I mean sure if you just have to have him, and your at #2, or surely not getting him at 19 or whatever, but I think the smarter play from that Draft slot is to grab a top RB, and go for the Stafford types a little later
