“Here ... hold this neck brace !”

Caman jstew, at least they've upgraded to a stretcher from a tarp - Paul Kariya's brother carried off the ice in 2009.

I dont know if these full face shields really work  im sure theres studies out there that probably show they do and Bauer made a killing on them lol but anecdotally speaking here (no anti-vaxxer!!!) they partially vent down and the fish bowls end up fogging up like crazy :noidea:

This is the only thing I saw but this shows 6 ft apart and no one is sneezing right at the other person not taking into any angles or close contact.

NOTE: Not sure why but when I first saw this video all I thought was "back and to the left".

Im talking in the context of hockey face shields. That isnt the type of shield (in your gif) that the finnish league plans on making their players wear is it? lol

Idk but im guessing theyre gonna go with the bauer shield with the “splash guard” insert they introduced this summer ... half the kids on my sons team got them and they fogged up first game so everyone is back to cages or bubble with no splash guard. Im thinking the pro players are bigger divas than the kids and arent gonna stand for that lol

Oh I knew what you were talking about. This is just showing from a COVID perspective of the sneeze. For the most part any shield is the same the top and bottom is open, hence the point it doesn't matter these players will never be 6 ft apart like them demonstrate how well the shield works.

The shields arent the same though. The regular bauer visor holes are right at the mouth/nose. Their splash guard covers the top holes but leaves the bottom ones that are only an inch lower exposed:noidea:

There have been studies that show ice rinks are the most conducive place for transmission of covid (poor air circulation, heavy exerted breathing (insert comeds joke here), cold air suspending droplets :noidea: ) but i really do think as long as there are participation protocols and everyone follows them that on ice play is safe.

adult hockey leagues up here were seeing transmission but kids leagues werent/arent. Basically because of the social aspect of adult league (people hanging out for the post game beer) This is what hockey leagues should be more concerned about imo because the shields that exist dont do anything and there is no social distancing on the ice.

Kevin Poulin (former NHL goalie) is one of the goalies for Bjorkloven...I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

/And I think he's played for Canada at the Spengler Cup previously as well.

Scoring the first three goals and then allowing the next seven - I think the Flames did that against Dallas in their final playoff game a few months ago lol

I don't see anything wrong there. It just looks like they are auditioning to play defense for the Oilers? :noidea:
