The amazing thing, from the game, not from Jon Knuts amazing celebration is the game winning goal was scored by a 19 year old d-man who didn't score a goal all season.

Somehow, after a lengthy video review, this goal did not count and the US women went on to win the gold medal in a shootout.

wow. tournament was in finland as well

ballsy shootout move with the game on the line.
doesn't look like she had an end-game though.

in case it's not clear, flipped the blade over to press on top of puck
looks fancy but takes quick shot completely out of the equation

Thats ubc

On iguchi, 5 foot 2 though  hopefully he can get to 5’7

/a name that was mentioned in the story was burt henderson. My son is playing spring hockey on a AA 2008 team and they went up against burts son jake (who is a AAA player - went to the bric this year) this weekend. I think we’ll hear this kids name again

Liga - Game 7 in the championship won in OT by HPK. HPK Goalie Emil Larmi goes to pat Veini Vehvilainen on the back before celebrating with his team.

Calder Cup finals start Saturday night here in Charlotte.

I'm so confused by this idea of cheering for a team that's still playing this far into the playoffs.
