Some of you were around for all of them. Some for only a couple. Where were you at on these glorious nights? Let's relive these moments as the 2015 season nears.

During their last championship I was about 5... So I was doing lots of illegal activity such as drug trafficking.

I was at my parents for the 94, 95, and 97 Championships. Was 9, 10, and 12 years old for each. Remember them all like they were yesterday.

The '94 Championship we were all down stairs with the old wood burner heating the house to what seemed like a thousand degrees. This was such a great night in my life. We were losing and it seemed to be over with 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter when suddenly things changed. My whole family was there watching. After winning I just remember Tom Osborne being carried off the field and then they played "We Are the Champions" on the radio. Kent Pavelka was going nuts that night.

The '95 game my parents had a party down stairs and I was 1 year cooler so I had a friend upstairs and we watched and enjoyed the greatest beatdown of all time. I remember not understanding why Lawrence Phillips was out for all those games and thinking "it's about time you let him come back." That night was unreal, because I knew we were going to win, which was unlike the year before when I was nervous as hell. The FSU game in '93 had me believing in '94 that we were cursed. In '95 I wasn't skurred of Florida at all. Well, maybe a little.....but not as much as I was of Miami the year before.

In '97 me and my parents watched the game upstairs. I remember thinking there was no chance Nebraska would have to worry about splitting a National Championship. It was a fun win, but it wasn't like the other 2.

The '94 win was so special for me.

I didn't sleep that night at all and they just kept playing that song allll night. And I just kept listening with the biggest dorkiest smile on my face.

It was much better than the year before when we got fucked over. I ripped the handle off my dresser drawer that night :dhd:

I see you're a Michigan fan.

I like how you said "during THEIR last Championship".........and not "our"

1970 I was snow skiing in Breckenridge, Colorado. Sort of knew the Bowl Game was happening, but there was no expectations in Nebraska about a national championship. I was not expecting any national championship. We were resting up for more snow skiing.

1971 I was snow skiing in Breckenridge, Colorado. OK, expecting a national championship this year, still no TV because back in those days you did not get very good TV reception in the mountains unless you had a special setup.

1994 Comfort of my own home. I was angry at how bad the first half went, and got up and left the family room and watched in the master bedroom all by myself. My wife knew it was best to leave me alone in these moments. Then, it was Corey Schlesinger time. I had to do silent screaming and stuff because the two year old was sleeping in Mom's arms, did not want to wake him up as I ran up and down the stairs to high five my wife and grab her boobs.

1995 Comfort of my own home. I know I watched the butt-kicking on television. But I was expecting a win. I loved how the media had picked Florida and their high powered offense to win.

1997 Again, watching in the comfort of my home but having to be very quiet. The now five year old and the five month old were sleeping. But it was a great year because then the Denver Broncos went on to win the Super Bowl.

Florida was picked because the game was being played on grass. The "experts" failed to realize Nebraska practiced on grass 3 days a week.

1970 - I was 8. Watched it in my living room with my folks.
1971 - I was 9. Watched it in my living room with my folks.
1994 - At a friends football party.
1995 - Football party at my house.
1997 - Football party at my house.

The only two I wasn't really confident that Nebraska would win were 1970 and 1994.
However I wasn't expecting Nebraska to rout #2 Bama in '71 or #2 Florida in '95 as bad as they did.

I do not recall where I watched the 97 game. 95 was at my older brothers house. 94 was at my house, all by myself. I Remembermy younger brother calling to razz me at halftime. I simply said, "watch what happens now."

70 & 71 I was 7 & 8 years old and didn't know what football was. My dad was at the 'Bama game.

1994- Watched with my family. Cory Schlesinger was one of my favorite players, so that was awesome. And I hated Miamuh with a passion.
1995- Parents were at the game so I threw a huge house party. Huskers won and I somehow avoided jail.
1997- Watched at my first college apartment with my buddies who were mostly fans of other teams. Gave them all the middle finger at close range multiple times. Somehow avoided a broken nose.

'94 I don't remember shit. I was 6. Parents had a party.

'95 Parents house. I remember the party and mildly remember the actual game. Mostly just all the drunk people laughing at Spurrier.

'97 You guessed it, party at my parents. Remember this one like it was yesterday. Specifically Peyton Manning crying.

I've re-watched each of these games at least a hundred times. Not an exaggeration. The 95 and 97 games If you put it on I can tell you on any given down exactly what play we're going to run, if we score, or how much the play goes for. Though it's been a long time since I re watched any of them so I don't know if I could anymore.

I was at the 94 orange bowl when Nebraska beat Florida St 23-12. That was a glorious punt return for a touchdown and that goal stop was phenomenal.

oh wait.

i wasn't alive for the 70 or 71. Sorry...I meant to be...i just wasn't.

94, I was home
95, pretty much home
97, definitely home.

Now, what you Children of the Corn need to be discussing is the following -
1988 Feista Bowl
1989 Orange Bowl
1990 Fiesta Bowl
1991 Citrus Bowl
1992 Orange Bowl
1993 Orange Bowl
1994 Orange Bowl
Throughout this period, Their Nebs played on New Year's Day in prime televised Bowl games. Is there any other program with such sustained national exposure through a 7 Bowl game losing streak?

I know it's tough to think right when your surrounded by GenMod corn and breathing crop duster outputs, but check out Their Nebs Bowl history (Nebraska Bowl History), grasp some perspective, and comprehend the nature of the posit - The Shuckers Up North have practically owned NYD, occupying a prime telecast slot even during a 7-game Bowl losing streak. If there's another program with that clout, name it.
