So do the Celts take him. Keep him (trade Smart) ? It feels like it's Noel and another asset and he is off to Philly. I can see Danny taking him if he is the consensus 3 which appears the case. Fun day ahead. Guess ?

I can see the Sixers trading Noel and Covington plus some draft picks and grabbing the #3. Could be Okafor instead.

If the Sixers really want Dunn they will likely give up Noel and one of their other 1sts left after taking Simmons at 1.

hearing that a Noel deal just might be in the works right now...

not sure how accurate that is, though...

Maybe both. But the Celtics will need to make some sort of trade happen because they will have way too many draft picks if that happens.

That's far to steep. The Celtics have been trying to trade the 3rd pick with no takers so far. If Boston could get Noel for the 3rd pick they should take it and run.

I honestly have no idea what the value of Noel or the #3 pick is in the current market. IMO, the Sixers will pull the trigger if they need to sweeten the deal with one of their late round picks. Might even be willing to do both. Hard to say.

The Celtics have been trying to deal the pick hard but the Sixers have been trying to deal Noel/Okafor hard as well.

There was a rumor that Philly was interested in Teague for Noel. They seem to want somebody who can help them in a big way right away. They aren't going to give one of their big men away.

Noel would be a great fit on Boston, the problem is that he's a RFA after this season ... that's why the Sixers may have to sweeten the deal a bit to make it happen. Makes sense for both teams though to get something done.

They are absolutely going to move one of their big men. They don't have a choice.

They have Embiid, Noel, Okafor, Saric and Simmons to play 3 positions. Given they all need to develop that is too many players.

I am sure they would prefer an established PG but those are hard to come by.

I'd love for the Kings to get him at 8, but there's little chance of that happening.

He won't fall past 8, but yeah he's likely not there, especially if these Rubio rumors are true.

What are the actual rumors? All I heard was the usual shopping of Ricky which comes up a few times a year

Rubio being shopped in general means the T-Wolves will need a PG, so Dunn is the obvious fit.

As for actual teams, I heard Rubio for Noel. But yeah, as you said, Rubio being shopped is a semi-annual occurrence.

Yeah I just read that it's the 76ers inquiring. I heard we wouldn't ask for much as long as Pek is taken too. They would give up Noel??

I think I'm the only person on the planet the thinks Dunn is an average bball player. He played like crap regularly when facing good competition. No shot and turns the ball over like crazy
