I'm pretty sure this Oline is not good enough to go to the Super Bowl even with our D.

It will be exposed just like in 2013 but that year it was in the Super Bowl itself. I just don't think the coaches can coach around the issues at RT and the youth along the line . Even Harris is a backup of a backup playing LT. Schofield is just bad and the coaches seem to let him stay out there by himself.

Brock has been sacked every 10 drop backs and has a shoulder and elbow now.

The AFC defensive lines are tremendous if KC gets Houston and Hali back, NYJ is scary great now, Houston has a defense if Watt gets his club off his hand and NE in NE is always tough.

It is def a concern going forward. Boy would feel real good had Clady and Ty stayed healthy esp Ty getting a year playing LT his rookie year now he a year behind.

All teams are a mash unit right now but Denver is playing with 3rd string OLinemen and and the safeties are street FAs just a couple weeks ago and had a direct negative impact in the OAK game and Pitts game just because they didn't fully go through TC.

I think the Texans or a Houston-less KC team is the best matchup in round one.

Do you think the Oline will be exposed and when.

This Oline does something well - they get to the 2nd level and block like all pros in the open field.

The Broncos need to continue with the hurry up offense - and make the short passing game and run game pay - for the concessional play action or bootleg for the big play. Last week they tuned up the bubble screen - which worked for the first time all year. Oz needs to play with the 3 step drop - or with the shot gun and look for his frist two targets - or throw the ball out of bounds immediately. When be bootlegs and learns to the throw the ball away when the play isn't there - he will have made a major step forward in this development as a QB.

Have you not been watching, CEH? The Oline already is exposed. They've had moments of adequacy but the recurring theme this season has been the line being the greatest weakness on this team. They've held up against some playoff bound team though, and when they run the hurry up, the line has looked solid. I think if the Broncos are interested in winning in the playoffs they'd better stick to that hurry up offense.

Then go back to manning if you guys think the hurry up is the answer
First it's Brock and kubiaks offense now its the hurry up
Sheesh make up your minds. Lol
The laser throw Brock made to Daniels for 26 yards is the type of offense that will win in the playoffs not the hurry up

I don't even want to see Manning on the sidelines anymore but that's not happening. You still can run a hurry up offense with Kubiak's style of offense involved.

Exactly. The hurry up isn't a system, it refers to the time in between plays and forcing the defense back to the LoS before they can substitute, while at the same time giving the offense an opportunity to get into a rhythm. It can be run from any system. That Oz has run the hurry up doesn't mean he was running Gase's offense: it means he was running Kubiak's offense at a fast pace.

There were a few things that I loved by the decision to go hurry up or what I would more so call no huddle because they still used a lot of the playclock.

1) The coaches showed confidence in Brock to run the offense and read a defense. He did very well and to me has earned a lot of trust heading into the playoffs.

2) The spread the Bengals out. This really made reading the defense so much easier. It was easy to see when they planned on blitzing and allowed for a lot more 1-on-1 coverage or holes in the zone.

3) It helped protect the OL. Teams have seen that our OL because they are so inexperienced they have struggled with delayed blitzes and stunt moves along the DL. Teams have to simplify when teams go to that no huddle spread formation.

Now while I don't think we will run a whole game through this style of play I do think if the offense is having some trouble it is not a bad idea to throw it in every few drives to keep a defense on its toes.

Again to me though my 1st point is the most important in I do think Brock has shown he thrives when the coaches put it on him to go win the game. I loved when they asked him about Manning being his back up that he talked about how it just showed the confidence the coaches have in him and that he is appreciative of that. NOthing better than getting your young QB some major confidence heading into the playoffs.

Good break down, CD. So here's my question. If they won't go no huddle a whole game, why not start a game that way and let the defense pin their ears back? Almost like the Steelers game, but keep the tempo up longer into the second half.

No one is saying to go as fast as the Eagles do but it does seem like in stretches when the Broncos run there offense with quick tempo they pass block better and seem to run the ball better. Knowing that the o line isn't the Broncos strength just maybe they can slow down the pass rush this way. Hell it can't hurt. There is so much talent on this team but the o line and yes they are very young there. Just have to keep going with there strengths which includes there defense and playmakers on offense and if speeding up the offense and helps this o line I'm all for it.

Rumor has it Kubiak told Brock at halftime to " save his job" . Really wasn't Brock's fault . Probably a completely different game if Sanders does not fumble on the 2nd drive of the game.

It's Manning here on out but I hope Brock is not irreparably damaged for the future.

My thought (in some other thread) came to reality. No way Kubiak could lose a game with a "healthy" Manning on the bench. I just thought it would be in the playoffs not reg season
