I just heard he got injured on the second to the LAST play in practice... You gotta be effin kidding me.... Why are they not just doing walk throughs at this point ? NO reason to risk injury right now... I heard he needed help up, and then later had his knee wrapped... I hope it's just a stinger

I hope it's just and owwie! Scared the beejesus out of me ... He's important for sure... That's just a fun match-up all around with there TE ... I would be beyond disappointed if he wasn't out there...

Same here. Him and Wagner got to be full on for this game. Heck Sherman and Earl Thomas are already hurt, can't afford anymore bad news.

I sprained a Knee once and walked it off. By that evening I couldn't walk.
Todays athletes are getting better treatment. If he hit the ice he'll be fine. Sore but fine.
Gameday? We are not going to know by the bullshit reporting that is going on....

Hopefully he just tweaked it. Going off the field with no limp is a relatively good sign, but as Southie mentioned, these things don't always manifest right away so we'll see. I don't have any doubt that he'll be playing on Sunday, but the last thing we needed was another member of the LOB getting dinged up before the Super Bowl. It just increases the degree of difficulty.

I've been to training camps ... Pete is actually very big on players being rested and fresh for Sunday's .... Also consider this the last game of the year regardless... No need to take huge risks at his point ... We're hours from game time .... Hopefully it was just a fluke injury and he's ok ...

I think it's too easy to second guess preparation methods when something like this happens. Luckily this doesn't appear too bad, but Kam was healthy going in and this was a scheduled practice, so barring some sort of weather event that forced them to turn it into a second walkthrough, there was no reason for them to deviate from their plan. I'm sure it was the same plan they used last year leading up to the Super Bowl and that seemed to work, so no sense changing it out of fear that a healthy guy could get hurt. It sucks that he got dinged, but it happens.

Your and mine both... He's a very important guy PERIOD, but he's even more important just because of the match-up.... gronk has seen the tape, he knows what's lingering around... No player makes TE's more nervous in football...
