Hammer and I never had any problems per se but I really don’t think he was built for the internet. He would get embarrassed a lot making false claims and then when nailed to the wall would slink off with his tail between his legs or talk shit about banning you if you kept coming after him.

Shaggy probably has the best approach to owning a board like this by not interacting much. He doesn’t give people ammo to come at him with though I do disagree with a couple of things he allows here.

He was an admin (more than a mod). And he sucked. I always thought he was okay until he lost his shit and went off the deep end. Most of the UW posters who’d been around, especially the ones who came from CBS, were mostly safe from his ban-happy spiral. But if he didn’t like you you were SOL. He would have no doubt banned you early on, for example.

I miss him and his little Oregon crew. The shit talking was fun, and it especially sucks they all disappeared right before we got our chance to shit all over them, but giving him any kind of power was a terrible move.
