You may not say that something is impossible. If all were possible which would be the biggest kick in the nuts?

repeating the last 4 years. it makes Dalton look competent enough to be extended, but keeps us in the same old frame of mind. we keep making the playoffs. It's like dating a hot girl who is secretly in to other girls, you want to stick with her because she's nice, but you know nothin' is going to happen.

I have to agree with Dan.... Groundhog day is getting old.

Losing in the divisional round because of a missed field goal is the most probable ending of all those listed. It wouldn't shock me at all and I'm not sure I would even feel justified in my disappointment given how predictable it is.

I think we can all agree that the worst outcome would be winning the Super Bowl. I mean if that happened what would we do with the rest of our lives?

If we win the the Super Bowl, I say all the Dalton haters on this board have to dye their hair red.

We'd be dazed for a while.... There would probably be a lot of child-like giggles during the winter months. But I'm confident that we would be back to normal by the second week of Reds baseball and when football season hit we'd be right beck to bitching about Marvin.

Of course Marvin promised to quit if he won..... So I guess we'd be bitching about Hue?

The only way this team misses the playoffs is because of several key injuries. Several key injuries = excuses. Thus, the worst possible scenario is missing the playoffs. I want them to make the playoffs with a 10-6 and record and I want Andy to look like garbage once again. I want his ass gone.

Marvin Lewis said in an interview last night on NFL Network that he never said he would retire, he said, if he was to win the Lombardi, he would hand it to Mike Brown and step down, meaning step away from him on the stage so that he could have the lime light to himself, as his goal is to win the Lombardi for Mike Brown so he could enjoy his moment after all these years and all the criticism he has endured.

So if you are hoping for a positive outcome to winning the SB besides just winning the SB, it will not be with Marvin Lewis retiring. So there's that.. *shrug*

They make it to the playoffs, Andy will be under the microscope, but there will be plenty of plug and play excuses to cover enough for him to keep him right where he is at. So keep dreaming Steve-o.

Andy has to learn to throw balls that don't magically bounce out of his receivers hands, lol.

it's the same old thing, we do great against teams that suck, we fold under pressure. rinse and repeat.

I don't know...we can beat some good teams.

We beat Denver last year, we beat the Packers a few years ago with Aaron Rodgers, we beat the Pats 2 years ago, we have owned the Ravens recently, and the Steelers while hard as hell for us to beat, we have managed a victory or two against them with Dalton. Didn't we beat Seattle a few years ago while playing in Seattle where that 12th man sits? We have a tendency to beat good teams once in a while, just not when it matters most.

To be fair, I think we beat this Peyton Manning.

The problem is when we beat a good team, the next week we lose to the Dolphins or Browns

the defense rose to the occasion against Denver, but Denver was having issues and it was a home game.

I remember explaining to people who were in disbelief that we fell apart again a few weeks after beating Denver.

Marvin Lewis decides to retire, Dalton has a threeway with A.J. McCarron and his wife. Aj's wife decides to leave AJ, for Andy. Dalton decides to quit and focus on a career in the adult film industry. Pacman Jones, bound on cheese at 3:00 a.m. robs a closed Walgreens for ex lax, and while exiting the robbery beats 3 strippers, because he has a "sour feeling in his belly".

Actually, that

Actually, that may be best case scenario.
