Well according to IPW, North carolina has less fatties than the midwest does, generally speaking since 95% of hockey fans are honkys. I went to school in the south and now go in the northeast. There is a dramatic difference, per my experience.

Clearly our experiences differ, however, the stats say the "southern fat hockey fans: crap you spewed out is utter bullshit.

And statistically speaking, in the CDC's own words: "Greater prevalences of obesity for blacks and whites were found in the South and Midwest than in the West and Northeast."

Yeah, but look at the prevalence data. Mississippi and Alabama do not have NHL hockey teams that I know of. Also, I mentioned the northeast and the rust belt. The rust belt is the midwest.
