What will you miss the most about the Atlanta Thrashers?

Okay, they weren't exactly a memorable franchise for the most part. The two things that stand out in my mind from their tenure in the league:

Phillips Arena. The lighting was so dark during televised games, it looked like the two teams were playing in an underground cave or bunker.

Mascot gimmicks to bring in fans. Thrash gets married. Thrash goes to jail. Good times.

There are hot girls up north for sure....but the mean and median are both significantly higher (like a 6.8-8.4) in the south compared to the south (2.5-4.6) and it is not even close. Tens are tens anywhere, but they are less frequent in the north.

No offense to the girls on here, I have not seen any of you in person. However southern gals (and western gals) kick the rust belt and northeasts ass.

Well, you have at least two just in baseball - Giants & Dodgers (both previously in New York) in the NL and the Twins & Rangers (both previously in DC) in the AL.

Let's go to a game in Tampa and one in Pittsburgh and revisit this discussion. The obesity problem in the south is heavily driven by a racial component. I am in public health, and speak from numbers and data not political correctness. Those people do not go to hockey games.

I agree with ya on the rust belt, but the Northeast? Some pretty good lookers in DC, New York, and Philly, and usually pretty smart to boot.
