I voted 12-0 because that's jest how I is

But let me break down each game for realz how I see them......

9/1 S. Miss @ Home - This team loses 11 starters, including their star QB, both WRs, and both Offensive Tackles......we should shred this team in Lincoln.

9/8 UCLA @ Pasadena - Here's the one that will fool most people on paper. We will struggle with this team I think, because they're still UCLA, and they're loaded with talent all over the place. They will have a fresh start, and be a different team under a new coaching staff.

9/15 Arkansas State @ Home - It's a team that is known to give the big boys big fits......but meh, we will eat them alive in the 2nd half.

9/22 Still Open - Assuming victory here.

9/29 Wisconsin @ Home - Losing 13 starters, including all top playmakers on offense, and much of that big offensive line. If we lose to this young Wisconsin team in Lincoln, I will be devastated to say the least.

10/06 Ohio State @ Columbus - Here's a tough one. Great defense returning all their starters. An offense that returns most of their starters. Will be much more experienced. This will be our toughest game in my opinion.

10/13 Open - Someone will get a DUI this week.

10/20 Northwestern @ NW - Caught us with our pants down this year......aint happenin twice in a row....sorry.

10/27 Michigan @ Home - This would be your typical Bo Pelini loss at home right here. It would be so typical of a Pelini coached team to come into this game ranked somewhere in the top 10 with all the momentum in the world, and show up flat right in our own stadium. This game scares me to death.

11/3 Michigan State @ E. Lansing - They return most of their entire defense.....that is scary. If I was a bettin' man :-)pound:) I would bet that Nebraska drops at least one of these games against one of the Michigan schools.

11/10 Penn State @ Home - Losing over half of their defense......nah, we aint losin' this game at home to a team that is completely inept on offense, and is losing the bulk of what makes them good (defense).

11/17 Minnesota @ Home - Poor Minnesota......they'll be rebuilding coming off of a year where they were rebuilding........coming off of another year in which they were rebuilding.........coming off of another year in which they were.......nevermind, you get the point. They will be bad.

11/23 Iowa @ Iowa City - If we come into this game with anything important on the line, I'll be shitting myself. Because we never seem to pull through in that scenario, and Iowa does have athletes.

I like your optimism here JJM. Although, I'm still a bit jaded yet from all the hype of our D this year. Maybe coach K can light a fire in there. Our Oline grew up allot as well as the WRs. I won't beat the horse about a certain position, but damn, it's key. Once I settle down from getting embarrassed yet again in the big game I can be more objective rather than cynical

I hear ya. Trust me I said several things yesterday that I am taking back today, just because the Husker in me is starting to set in now. I was in one bad mood yesterday.

See, the way I see it, we actually have more next season. Yea losing Dennard and David hurts because they were playmakers.........but I'd take a team full of experienced players (whether they did well this year or not) over an inexperienced team with a few playmakers on it.

We returned 12 starters this year from last year's team. We played several Freshman this season. Next season we return 17 starters, and we also return our entire special teams unit.

We won't see near as much fresh meat out on the field next year as we saw this year. This season we were relying on Freshman to make big plays for us.

How dare you bring logical thinking into this discussion!!

I voted 6-6. There are way to many questions at defensive ends, secondary, and at linebacker. It's too much to ask Anderson or Santos to be the next David. I'm not sold on the offensive line or the entire offense. I see pretty much every game except Arkansas state or the other TBD team as a potential loss.

I'm not sure experience will help these guys as maybe they don't have talent to compete consistently with BCS caliber schools. Things haven't changed with the lack of discipline on the field over the past four years so I don't expect to see it next year.

I hope I'm wrong.

I'm not worried, we are young and will grow. I'd rather watch us lose because we shoot ourselves in the foot instead of watch us straight up get our asses kicked because we suck.

9-3... and that's being optomistic. Seems like Bo is loosing the team and I don't like the "it's us vs. them (the media/fans)" mentallity he has started to use.

That doesn't bother me so much (us vs. them) as "They didn't execute".

I know that they didn't execute. I saw the game. But WHY?!!!!

This horse has been ridden all season long and I am tired of the same ol' pony ride going round and round and round.

10-2

Shoelace develops to much and our D will be baffled.

Rolling into final game we will be tied for Legends lead with the Hawkeyes and they will find a way to beat us.

Once again PUFF, PUFF PASS!!

It's the reason I could never be a member of the media..........I'd never be able to pick against the Huskers :smokin:

I predict with my heart rather than my brain. My dream is for Nebraska to go undefeated every single season, and I will always predict that my dream will happen.

why??? if we shoot ourselves in the foot it proves that we have talent but our coaches cant get our guys up for a game, and our guys cant motivate themselves enough to not make dumb retarded mistakes. i would take getting straight up beat any day as long as it meant the team is playing solid, technique sound football.

thats whats making everyone bitch so much is that this team has enough talent to be great, but they keep making these retarded mistakes that keeps them down....

The reality of it all is, we will be 11-1.

I just hope that 1 loss isn't to Michigan.
