What thriving starters that started most ten team leguesleagues on the waiver wire do you think are going to keep it up the rest of the year. These names include, but are not limited to Shane Greene, Anthony Dclafani, Alfredo Simon, Nick Martienez, etc.

I think Shane Greene is for real and will be a reliable starter the whole year.

Chris Heston has been rocking for me but if I was to choose one Anthony might be the best of the group.

Shane Green, at home, versus righties is a matchup Id be happy to use all year. (Gose starts in center against righties. Stupid defense on the whole behind him in those situations.)

I used Simon today. AD was gone in all my dailys.

A couple of others: Archie Bradley and Joe Kelly are both in my starting lineups until proven otherwise. Alfredo Simon is in. Last year he was very good for first half then faded. Maybe he can avoid the second half swoon this year.

I just grabbed Anthony Desclafani and glad I did after last nights game. Shane Greene looks solid and I'm not sure I'm sold on Alfredo. Nick Martienez looking good so far but weather or not he can keep it up, I don't know. Brandon Morrow is another one to keep an eye on. He's had two good starts and looks like he is available in most leagues.

I like Shane Greene a lot, have him in three leagues. This DeScalfani(?) didn't give me any interest and it looks like I'm wrong there. I got sucked in by Graveman and the A's pitching track record...ugh. Forgot the Spring Training cardinal rule: don't pay much attention to it. Not sold on Simon, but with Detroit he should be good for wins, that's for sure.

Btw, if Captain Eo is out there, could be worth a pickup. Might be a roller coaster ride, tho.

I like Chase Anderson. A couple of rough starts coming up though, vs Colorado and then @ Kershaw... but he's made some changes in his pitches and he looks good.

:L I gave up on CC and Eovaldi the beginning of this week in a points league. I picked up Heston and I don't remember the other one.

Well, Heston's a good pickup...unless I've missed something.

Are CC and Eovaldi really THAT good?

No, but they were both lights out against the Tigers this week. CC pitched the best game he has pitched in two years and Eovaldi broke a personal 13 game losing streak.

In a points league where an average start is 10 points CC would have picked up 20 and Eovaldi would have picked up 23. As of right now I am losing by 35 points in that league.

Nuno is handling AAA very well, will be 1st call up, FYI.

One of my drafts was before Moncada signing, he and Orlando were both FA's.

Miguel Gonzalez seems to be good and bad. But taking a closer look, he's been pitching divisional games for, I think, 14 games straight, dating back to last season! He's held up pretty well. I'm looking forward to seeing how he does out of division coming up... something to keep an eye on.
