I really don't know....We do some things at Caps games that I really don't understand.

Like the 1...2...3...ect(however many goals) all your fault at the goalie. Or mocking a goalie after 1 goal

I've nevvver understood that...and it's not just Caps fans that do it. I'm not a fan of mocking the goalies until it's warranted, such as when it's a blow out or a sooooft goal. I mean, if OV snipes one from the top of the circles and it's the first goal of the game, there's NO reason to chant a goalies name...however, Fleury's goal from Montreal the other night, that...that warrants mocking.

The whooping actually cracks me up. I enjoy it. One of the coolest moments I remember from the '09 series was a very intense power play in Washington. It was a Pens PP, the crowd was loud as hell, and Crosby and Gonchar kept passing each other the puck.

"BOOOOOOOO-WHOOPWHOOPWHOOPWHOOPWHOOP-BOOOOOOO-WHOOPWHOOPWHOOP-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-WHOOPWHOOPWHOOPWHOOPWHOOP!!!"

Pretty sure 90% of Pens fans didn't want Gonchar to come back (just wasn't worth it, no hard feelings), which I why I think it will be a warm reception.

Wait, you agree with me on that? I said virtually the same thing at the swamp, defended my opinion for a few pages, but got absolutely torn to shreds. Made me think I was completely on my own on that one.

Well, they DID play a tribute video for Gonch and he got a round of applause (standing O is unknown as of now) and there's been no trace of booing or whooping. I'm glad...he did nothing but help the Pens for 5 seasons.
