What to do on a Thursday night

Little assistance please...

A friend and I are coming in and staying one night in Cincinnati a week from today (4/3). Going to the Reds day game vs. the Cards. Just wanting to know what is the thing to do on a Thursday night in the area.

I know the area fairly well but don't know where "the" place to be is on a Thursday night. The Banks? Newport on the Levee? TBD? Is the new casino nice?

The casino is ok. I was a bit disappointed, though. If you are at all used to visiting Vegas, it may be a let down. If it is a nice day, the bars at the Banks should be pretty lively pre and post game.

It's Cincinnati -- What were you expecting?

Look on the bright side -- Five years ago and there would be nothing within walking distance of the stadium. Now you have the Banks and the casino..... You should find enough trouble there.

Didn't know if a specific club/bar had anything that is exclusive to Thursday nights. I know bars around here love their themed nights that involve alliteration and/or rhymes. 'Thong Thursday'. 'Thristy Thursday'.

Part of the issue is the audience here on the SportsHoopla..... Bunch of old dudes, afternoon drinkers, cheapskates, and people that left town.

1)Old dude --- more like old fart
2)Afternoon drinker --- sometimes guilty, though not nearly as often as Kramer
3)Cheapskate --- uh, no.....my scotch alone costs $78 a fifth
4)Left town --- haven't lived in Cincy since graduation (1979)
