If someone asked me this question 3 weeks ago id say Stamkos, but as of right now I have to say Crosby. In my opinion he's carrying the entire offense right now for Pittsburgh. I definitely give him credit for having the ability to improve on the weak aspects of his game from year to year. Just about every weakness I have ever pointed out he has improved on. Definitely legit.

The team that i'm most impressed with are the Predators. Seems like they have a mini fire sale every season yet still find a way to be competitive. They must have the deepest depth of goalies and defense in the league because they seem to swap out those positions annually and dont seem to lose much of a step.

HM: Team: Atlanta
HM: Player: Byfuglien - bagged on him all last season as an overrated POS, but he's making me look like a fool! Still hate that fat mess though!

I agree that Crosby has really stepped up and played outstanding so far this year.

I also agree with Atlanta playing very well and a bit of a surprise.

Predators have to have great goaltending and defense to make up for their lack of offense. They PK is top 5 I believe, but it would be nice if they could improve on their PP. That would also help out a lot.

Nashville is also a streaky team. They'll lose 3 then win 6...or something like that, lol. They are currently 4th in the West with 38pts (Columbus, St. Louis and Chicago are all tied at 35).

Buffffflin!!!!!
And the Thrashers of course. People just have to not go to their games so they can win.

Atlanta can't be too impressive considering their mascot is still in jail.

Only in America do you put a bird in a cage while Boomer is free to roam the streets of Columbus exposing his cannon balls to one and all...

Besides, you can't put Boomer in jail, he'd just blow his way out of there.

And not in the "Oz" type of way when i say blow his way out.

Well they just won 5 in a row, so I guess they have 1 more and then back to the losing skid :o

LOL

It was a good win tonight. LA Saturday night might end the streak.

I can't help but to be impressed with The Dallas Stars and specifically Brad Richards. They are playing as a team well below the salary cap and yet somehow seem to win games they really shouldn't be able to win. Three other players of note in this are Ville Leino of Philly and of course Milan Lucic and Tim Thomas of the Bruins.

Had to mention the B's :p

Jiri Hudler. He's creating quite a big impression on me. I can't believe how much he sucks after spending one year in the KHL. Wonder if that massive blindside hit he took in the playoffs has caused him to become too guarded?

It impresses me that the Panthers are so cursed that they've managed to once again be a below .500, mediocre team, despite having a positive goal differential.

No other team can say that!

30 games into the fucking season...how does that happen?

Something suggests to me that they're losing 2-1, 3-2 games and winning 5-0, 6-2. :D
