In a league full of parity We have managed to remain mediocre for 20 yrs. To me Parity means every year you control your destiny and have the opportunity to control your fate. So in this theory we would have some 6-10 years and some 10-6 yrs. In a parity League you only need to get in the playoffs to have a chance to win. Examples would be: Arizona, G.B., NYG, Baltimore, and The Eagles this year. All wild card teams that went to or won a SB. So why in the world don't I get that feeling about this team. I woke up this morning thinking about this.:mad2:

He is seriously delusional! Every time he opens his mouth, he says dumb stuff, like we were in it. Since when was the Cowboys goal to just be in it to make the playoffs? I really think he does not care about winning, when like others have said, he can't admit to his failure as a gm and fire himself. He like Jason keep making the same mistakes over and over.lastly, he had the nerve to praise Monte???? I am sick of jerry the new Al Davis!

I also thought that was one of the dumbest statements I have ever heard from someone since the "late" fry.

big asset but way bigger flaw

his ability to forget or let the criticism roll off his back is good but his inability to understand that sometimes the people saying your doing it wrong are RIGHT and for him to admit it is his biggest flaw

Jerry will be jerry

I don't see it as an asset at all. You are supposed to learn from your mistakes. Jerry has not learned one damn thing from his myriad of them.

I think it's pride. You don't get that rich and not lose it if you are stupid.

I understand that line of thought Manster but for Jerry a mistake is just like a dry hole in the oil field just because you came up with nothing does not mean you were wrong to try and he just moves on to the next drilling site.

Jerry is a different Cat he does not see a mistake just a opportunity that did not pan out, it cost X amount and on to the next opportunity.

Great asset in the oil field when your a wildcatter and taking big risks not so much as a GM of Billion Dollar Brand

Yes I said Brand that's how Jerry looks at the Cowboys and that's not how a GM should be looking at the Team

Parity only works for those teams that have a good GM.

Personally, I long for the days before parity primarily because the only way JJ can get a team back to the SB is if he has an unlimited amount of money to spend.

You want to know why Jimmy and Jerry had such a great team in the 90's? Some people think it was because of Jimmy, a few (including Jerry) think it was because of Jerry. The real answer is there was none of this namby-pamby "put us all on the same level" kindergarten parity crap.

Well if he equates fucking up a football team to a dry oil well he may be stupid after all.

:Like some on here have said: we are stuck with him. He will undermine any head coaach he brings in. He always thinks we are one player away. He never learns from previous mistakes: see Roy Williams trade.

It makes me a bit crazy when I think of all the worst to first turnarounds that have taken place while he diddles around as a GM. So many teams have improved during these years and we remain average at best. I do see improvement during the last 3 years but it is not in a big way and not reflected in the record. I keep reminding myself that this year would have been different if we didn't lose the pass rushers. That is what makes Kiffen's defense work after all. But it seems like it is something every year with this team.
