I really wish they'd keep it simple and just go Knights. It ties with Foley and has marketability to the city. Dump this Hawks carp. North Dakota is already a steaming pile for their Hawks decision

I bet uncle George gives Dale a call and tells him to back off or Dollar Bill pays the Hunters whatever sort of "We own the name Knights" purposes. If anything, they should work out a deal and collaborate, unless London has some sort of high horse about Vegas not being a "Traditional" market...

I'd imagine that this did happen, and when Hunter told him to stuff it that's when the "revelation" about the Knight being up to memorabilia shenanigans and suddenly facing huge legal fees was coincidentally made public.

They were only the Seals at the outset.

And the addition of "Golden" and change to California were clearly marketing gimmicks since the team was losing money hand over fist (why hello Arizona Coyotes) that went right along with changing the colors of the uniforms.
