What makes "good pizza" in you opinion?

It's all good pizza to me.

However, great pizza is some good chicago style pizza that is so thick you are stuffed after a single piece.

I just got those toppings from my local joint. It was great. Green olives are a vastly underrated pizza topping.

I think it mostly depends on the crust. Thin crust needs to be crunchy and thick needs to be crispy and flakey. It also depends on toppings and cheese. I moved from near Chicago to Saint Louis, and I think the best pizza place here is Pizza Hut because there is only crappy pizza joints here. Their insistence on using Provo cheese makes the pizza taste like somebody jizzed on it. It's seriously awful. Sauce is big too, but I would rank that last.

For some reason, I knew someone would say this. I was actually thinking of ending the post with "in before some says how do you know what jizz tastes liked." Very predictable and not funny. It's what I think jizz would taste like, but I can never be sure. Maybe you could run an experiment for me?

If I had to pick one thing it would be the flavor of the sauce. Good cheese and quality, fresh ingredients are important as well. The crust is too. But it's easier to get those right.

I agree Waz... The sauce is what makes it special. It's funny how we agree on most things with the exception of politics.
