The facts remain, you can't say the same for your team...regardless of of who you played..it's an accomplishment for anyone and not just because it happens to be my team.

They also lost their first 2 in 1986 to Bama and UW.
I just read something the other day about the year 1978 and losing to PSU. I can't remember exactly why it was a topic of conversation though. Oh well, screw it.

When did you play an out of conference game in Glendale? I'm not talking about bowl games either.

The statement was that we havent left the south since 1986 and that is just not true. Not ooc games.. not bowl games.. it was a blanket statement and you can not change what it said.

My point is when you don't play high risk games in the beginning, and you don't hit the road, you aren't going to lose much.

Oh, excuse me. I stand corrected. LMAO :L
Really dude?
up until a few years ago UGA's scheduling practices were worse than Florida's.

25-Mostly because of playing scrubs but there were #11 FSU, #10 aTm, #24 West VA, #24 OKlite sprinkled in there. Also 2 vs Iowa and 2 vs MichSt, who weren't very good at the time but it looks better than Maine.

There was a time we actually tried. That time is not now, however.

No that's about it. We have played two neutral site games to open, where the tickets are split evenly. Plus we do hit the road for OOC match ups in the regular season. Florida needs to step their game up in scheduling like Georgia has done.

Maybe, but I'm not the one bragging about beating Charleston Southern 21 times in a row.

Boise State (twice)
Oklahoma St (twice)
Clemson (twice)
South Carolina (4 times)
LSU

That's 11 big time openers for UGA over the last 21 years.

Miami? Not since 1987 and that was a loss.

What was Oklahoma State's rank in the years that you played them? LOL

Come on now ktg, you & I have both looked at who you've started the season with over the last 21 years and HAWAII is by far the best team UF has opened against. And that's nothing worth bragging about.

yep.. and looking at that its impressive although a few years ago you lost your second game to SO miss.. but thats what I mean..even if they seem like a scrubb sometimes they show up to play.. the year we played hawaii they went 12-1 the year before, but they got a different coach, Even though quite a few returning players they didnt do so well against fl.. ended up being at .500..
