Philadelphia: 2-2 (1SOW)
Pittsburgh: 3-1 (1SOL)
Boston: 1-3
Tampa: 4-2 (1SOW)
Buffalo: 3-1
New York: 1-3 (1SOL)
Montreal 3-1 (1SOL)

So that makes it 17-13 with 5 games decided by stupid shootouts.

That makes it a potential high of 20-10 and a potential low of 15-15 if the shootouts went the other direction. I add that in because shootouts are a lame ass decision making process that is only used in the regular season and really does not indicate which team would have won the game had it continued.

I am just kind of curious how all of the teams look against playoff contenders going into it, not that it really predicts too much.

BTW, The caps are 5-1 (1SOW) against Carolina should they slide in.

Like he said in the OP, It means Nothing!! I have seen many years when during the season one team pretty much ruled the other team and come playoff time it was a whole new ball game.

I've seen it with the Sabres, both ways.

The Islanders gave a lot of the "upper" teams fits this year. It would be interesting to see what their record is vs the playoff teams. They drove the Sabres nuts !!

You know, if it weren't for that whole debacle back in February, it would have been easy for me to have a slight likeness for them. Their young talent is very exciting to watch, and you can only imagine what would have happened if Nabby would have played for them in net. They could have made a late season push.

But, the mayhem that occurred and the fallout that followed makes it hard for me to root for them, especially Snow's comments. In any case, they should make some noise next season.

It's not that close... lol

But it is below the season winning percentage. Probably because there are no other NW teams in the playoffs (at this time Dash).
