I've tried to look this up but can't find an answer. One would think that if you win a lot of road games in the regular season that means that you probably have HFA for the playoffs.

I wonder if the hawks are going for that record against GB.

2007 Giants won 10. Not sure if that is the record but it has to be pretty close.

ah, I imagine that is the record. At most, a team would play 11 away games. I wouldn't count the Superbowl as that is a neutral site game.

2007 Giants have 10, 2005 Steelers (barf) have 9

Hawks are tied with a bunch of other teams with 8

yeah 10 would be a high number. I mean the what 2007 patriots went 8-0 on the road but because they were so good also at home they did not play another road game in the playoffs. the check and balances here keep that number from being to high and when you think about it having 10 in a season is crazy, the Max possible would be 11! The Hawks were 7-1 on the road now 8-1, if they can beat GB and then say travel to San Fran and win that gives them 10 wins. So really the best possible would be 11-0 for a season ( counting playoffs ) but for a team that goes 8-0 on the road then to play every playoff game on the road, that would be so hard. Even if they split at home like we did 4-4 thats still a 12-4 record and most likely gets you a home game. It would take a crazy strong division to cause a 8-0 road team to not win it. kind of like the NFC West this season.
