what if Saints run the table?

Does anyone know our magic number for securing the #2 spot? I know it would factor in a lot more teams and tie-breaking scenarios than the division, but was wondering if anyone had calculated that yet. I know the magic number for the number one seed is 7 presumably (us running the table and Green Bay losing twice in conference), right? 8 to be safe, but that ain't happening without a Rodgers injury.

Any time. I'm good at the elementary school level math. The best number the Saints can reach is 13 and if the Niners win 4 more they'll have 13. They have the tie breaker over the Saints.

That was yesterday? Man, today and last night took forever and my mind is all over the place. I remember reading that but don't know why that escaped me. Ugg... this week is just going to get longer. I probably shouldn't even be on this board this week. Thanks.

The D has a lot of promise. But Washington moved the ball on them at will this week. And the offense is just awful these days. It would be a huge upset if we lost that one IMO.

We're a much better team, but I wouldn't call it a huge upset. On the road at a tough stadium to play in, division rival, good defense. I'm taking the 49ers, but it's not David vs. Goliath.
