Pretty funny, but we did try to go all in on peyton that offseason anyways. He didn't even want to travel to Seattle though. Pretty sure he wanted to stay in the AFC for a possibility of a Manningbowl to stay intact

Ya, I think Manning really snubbed us. The Seahawks sent the plane for him and he wouldn't even come for a meeting. Oh, well. Denver will be searching for a new QB in a year or two and we'll be rollin' with Russell for the next 15+ years.

Peyton was targeting Seattle, its just John Elway went all in and snagged him. At least he told Seattle that Denver was his choice and allowed Seattle to move on looking for another QB in FA instead of stringing them along. Peyton's choice paved the way for our future.

My understanding was Seattle just showed up uninvited, not that they sent a plane he was expected to be on and snubbed them.

They were told to send a plane because Seattle was the next destination on the so-called Manning FA tour. Good for Denver and better for Seattle on the choice he made.
