Been creative the last few days, starting threads to stimulate discussion after I got my Stimulus.

I think it is between Hill and McGrady. Very close, but I give the slight edge to Hill, he could even make the teal, horsehead uniforms cool.

I think it would have been really close between Grant Hill and McGrady. Peak McGrady was an absolute monster. But Grant had the better overall floor game and I think year in and year out he would have been putting up significant numbers. Also Grant Hill didn't rely so much on freak athleticism so his longevity in the league would favor him over McGrady. So for that reason I'll go with Grant Hill.

One other guy that is always forgotten when it comes to injuries ruining their career is Gilbert Arenas. For a stretch of 3 years he was a beast.

I'm going with T-Mac. Prior to injury, he was damn near Kobe and some thought he might have ended up being better than Kobe. Imo, had he stayed healthy and was smart enough to keep adjusting his game like Kobe...there would have been some great debates over which of them was better.

Grant Hill was such a winner.

TMac the most talented of the bunch though, by a good bit.

Think it is really close between those 2 with Penny a distant 3rd.

McGrady was a monster talent, but I don't think he was more about his own game than team success. I'll go with Hill (although I was a HUGE Penny fan).
