If we take Collins at pick 9 a bunch of people need to be fired. Good player but nowhere near worth the 9th overall pick.

Tryon in the 2nd makes up for it a bit as I think he will go higher than people think.

Honestly I would understand this mock more if the two players were reversed. Positional value and I think Tryon is just scratching the surface of what he can do. Again I like Collins but this is such a deep off ball LB class so no reason to reach for a player when someone of equal or even what I would consider better value could be had in the 2nd.

My apologies for assuming. Collins at the end of round 1 I would be ok with that decision. Still not my favorite as honestly he is 5th on my LB big board for this draft.

It’s just a ‘what if’. We’ll mark you down as a Nay on Collins. Honestly, I’m not a fan either unless it’s in the fashion of my subsequent mock post where I traded #9 for 27, 31, 171 and Ravens 2nd rounder next year. Safe to say that’s probably not going to happen.

I heard Collins put on 20 lbs after the Senior bowl - that's got to be a red flag.
